High-End Mesh Morphing DEP MeshWorks
The world standard for mesh morphing tools. Enabled by the efficiency and cost reduction of advanced shape modifications at the CAE level.
DEP Mesh Works is a high-end mesh morphing program developed by Detroit Engineered Products Inc. in the United States. Morphing is a technique that utilizes existing mesh models to change the shape without altering the CAD geometry, by only modifying the nodes or element shapes. This minimizes the need to revert to CAD, significantly reducing the man-hours required in the CAE model preparation process. In addition to morphing capabilities, it offers various features to support modeling for CAE, such as inserting features into mesh data, stitching functions, and shape-wrapping mesh capabilities. The parametric functionality allows for the setting of multiple morphing sets, and batch processing capabilities enable integration with optimization tools. DEP Mesh Works is adopted by many automotive and parts manufacturers, as well as aerospace manufacturers, including automotive companies worldwide, such as those in the United States, Japan, and South Korea.
